Brazil is a widely known beautiful country that has many different things to do that will cater to anybody's interests. There are many different tours, historic sites, museums, outdoor activities, monuments, zoos, aquariums, gardens, amusement parks, islands, concerts, and so much more.

Things to do:

Since there are so many different things to experience in this country, I've picked a couple to go into detail about that sparked my interest and hopefully they do to you as well. There is an amazing cruise that has great ratings called Guanabara Bay Cruise. It has an optional barbecue lunch. The starting fee is just $59! During this cruise you will embark on a leisurely half day cruise on Guanabara Bay and see the major sites from the tranquil waters, including Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer. When you are booking the cruise, you will have the option to select the lunch if you want. It is all you can eat at a restaurant in Rio. They also have a vegetarian friendly menu if you do not prefer meat. In this four hour tour, you will be picked up at the major hotels in Sao Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana or cruise ship port. You will travel across multiple different views including historic neighborhoods.

If you're into doing something out of the ordinary, Brazil's Rio De Janeiro Hang Gliding Experience should definitely be on your bucket list. It is two hours long. You travel over bodies of water and different parts of Brazil. It has absolutely breathtaking views. You will fly safely with a trained instructor. You will also receive a video of your entire experience, which is super cool to rewatch after your experience is over with because it's almost guaranteed you will want to do it again. This experience is $199/person. There is no prior registration required. You show up the day you'd like to do it and fill out some paperwork and off you go! During your flight, see the main attractions of Rio de Janeiro, including Sugarloaf Mountain, Corconovado, Copacabana, Ipanema, Lagoa, and Niteroi. After a smooth landing, you are offered refreshments while waiting for the rest of your group to finish their experience. The departure point is in the São Conrado district. You land back in this area as well.

Night Life:

If you are into nightlife, Brazil is a great place to get a taste of it.

There is something called the Skip the Line: Lapa Pub Crawl. You go to

many different bars located in Brazil for four hours long. This is a great

place to meet new people of different cultures. Tons of people go on this

pub crawl and visit with each other from all around the world. It is only

$23/person. There are many drinks they offer that will cater to your taste.

You will also receive a samba or salsa dancing lesson, drink discounts, VIP

entrance, and so much more. This pub crawl will also teach you how to

make drinks that many people in the Brazilian culture enjoy. You must be

18 years of age to participate along with using a valid form of I.D.

Food:

There are many, many places to eat across this country. There is a food tour that seems like a must try and that is the Food Tour-All kinds of Brazilian Flavors. It is a little pricey, but you seem to get a long of bang for your buck! It's $175/person, but wait! Before you turn it down, know that you get more than just food. You get all the food you want, all the drinks you want (alcohol included), and street art. This is a six hour tour meaning you could eat and drink a ton in that amount of time. Sounds worth it to me! Wear your walking shoes! This is a walking tour that takes guests to neighborhoods of Lapa, Glória, Flamengo and Laranjeiras. The pace at atmosphere of this tour is very calm and relaxed. You can go in your comfy clothes if you want! There are many English speaking guides to help give you a tour of different parts of Brazil along with giving you information about the foods that are provided. They also are there to help you with anything else that you need while visiting. Want to know places to dine in, carry out, places to visit? They're your people! There are eight stops total during the tour. Along the way, you will get a taste of Amazonian fruit juices and street food dishes, visit a street market, bars and some really old restaurants. You will have plenty of chances for different foods, beers, and other beverages. Along the way, you may make stops to see the different street arts-which are fascinating. There are many stops along the way so that each guest can take his or her time. This also gives the chance for everyone to enjoy the tour-young or old.

Hotel:

A beautiful hotel to stay at in Brazil is the Praia Ipanema Hotel. Prices vary depending on the time you stay, just as all hotel prices do (especially around holidays and summers). This place has incredible ratings and an even more incredible view just for around $159/night! The property is a one minute walk to the beach. There is an on site restaurant with really good eats. They offer an outdoor pool, fitness center, bike rentals, and free wifi. It was rated 9.4/10 for a couple's hotel if you are looking to go with your significant other! It is located in Rio de Janeiro. When looking at this hotel, it's likely you won't even want to research other hotels. The view from it is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are very roomy, clean, and modernly decorated. The picture below is the view from the pool area. Gorgeous, right?

I hope this post about Brazil gave you a little more insight on things to see/places to go. Brazil is 100% on my bucket list to visit and I can't wait to explore!

Once again, thanks for reading!
