There are many different things to do in San Antonio, Texas-whether it be for recreational purposes, history, or just a tourist wanting to visit some touristy areas. I love warm weather, so this seems like my place to be! San Antonio has a humid, subtropical climate. Therefore it has hot summers and mild winters.
Attractions:
No matter what age you are or what activities/events you prefer, San Antonio has something that will interest everyone. SeaWorld San Antonio is a widely known attraction that many families like to visit during their stay in this city. It's been one of the most popular parks in the area since it opened. There are killer whales, dolphins, rides, shows, and many other must see things in the park.

Another widely known attraction is Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio. There are over 57 rides that you can choose from mild to wild. These rides are sure to make your stomach drop, if you enjoy that sort of thing.
A great place to check out for the Texan Culture is the Institute of Texan Cultures. There are over 26 ethnic cultures and backgrounds discovered in this museum. It's a great place to go if you are interested in seeing how diverse their culture is compared to other states and countries and what forms part of the US diversity.
The Grand Trolley 60 Minute Tour is very exciting and entertaining as you explore the town in an hour. The destinations you visit are The Alamo, El Mercado, Hemisfair Park, and Tower of the Americas. This is a very relaxing ride if you want to just get out and explore the city without having to move from your chair!
Another little down-the-street cruise is the San Antonio Grand Double Decker Tour. It is sort of like the Grand Trolley Tour, but on this one, you are able to hop on and hop off of the bus at any time to go explore on your own. This bus visits The Alamo, Tower of the Americas, Hemisfair Park, and The Spanish Governor's Palace.

If you're enjoy waterparks, there are three exciting popular waterparks in the area-Splashtown Waterpark, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and Aquatica San Antonio. They all include a wide range of different activities to do in the parks such as exploring, swimming, lazy rivers, rides, playgrounds, wave pools, hot tubs, and so much more. Pricing for all of these attractions does vary depending on the time of year that it is!
Food:
There are many different places to eat in San Antonio. The top 4 are all based on different food types! Get out of your comfort zone and go try it out! Each restaurant is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The prices on the menu also change during different seasons. Each of these four restaurants suggest you have a reservation before attending due to how busy they get. Just a heads up! ;)
Bliss 926 S Presa St, San Antonio
This restaurant got a 4.5 out of 5 stars. It has a contemporary layout. This restaurant is Vegetarian Friendly, but serves mostly American food! There are a variety of different appetizers, soups, and salads. Their must have entrée is their Gulf Red Snapper/Chicken Fried Oysters-described as: Snapper ala plancha, southern cream peas, chicken fried oysters, Spanish chorizo, broccolini, whole grain mustard hollandaise.

Pollos Asados Los Nortenos 4642 Rigsby Ave, San Antonio
This is another 4.5/5 star Mexican restaurant. It's a dive restaurant, but has the best Mexican food in San Antonio! It's very authentic and you will want to visit again. You will not leave this place hungry. That's for sure! They give you lots of food including free chips and salsa, along with your entrée, rice and beans. YUM I'm hungry!

Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse 18318 Sonterra Pl, San Antonio
This is a great restaurant to get your steak fix in! It also is a little more fancy, if you want to get dressed up and have a nice dinner, I'd suggest checking this place out! Once again, you will not leave hungry. The meat is cooked to perfection and they give you large amounts of food. This is an awesome steakhouse that is vegetarian friendly. This is another restaurant that received a 4.5/5 stars. The most recommended piece of meat to get here is the filet mignon. It is wrapped in bacon. They have a huge winery as well with tons of wines you can sample. The filet mignon wrapped in bacon & wine part has me sold!

Wildfish Seafood Grille 1834 NW Loop 1604, San Antonio
If you love seafood like I do, you will definitely eat here! These entrees could feed two people! The food comes in large quantities so you can save some for later, too! The lobster and crab wontons are highly recommended for newcomers. They're served crisp with spicy red pepper jelly. Once again, this is a little fancier than the Mexican restaurant if you are looking for somewhere to dress up!

Hotels:
The most recommended hotel to stay at is the Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. It's located on the river and is walking distance from tons of restaurants and shops. It is surrounded by tons of beautiful stained glass windows and even allows you to relax in the rooftop pool! They have free breakfast, (nothing better than free food!!), free Wi-Fi, free soda and popcorn from 3-10 pm, and gorgeous rooms with beautiful views overlooking the river. This hotel price varies night to night, but I can promise, no matter the price, it is so worth it! Anyone would enjoy this hotel. If you're looking to book in the month of September, (the month it is currently), you're looking at paying about $160/night-which is not bad at all considering all the amenities you get along with it!

I hope that after reading this blog post about San Antonio, Texas you are more bound to visit there and that the information provided was helpful. I promise you, the city does not disappoint!
